Plastic sumps are manufactured from environmentally friendly polyethylene and have a high chemical resistance to acids and alkalis. Sumps are placed onto wooden pallets for storing drums or for transporting them within the workplace. One drum hoding 205 litres, and small containers can be placed directly into the sump without the use of a grid, but plastic sumps (PolySafe sumps) are equipped with either a galvanized or a polyethylene grid and are ideally used for storing more than one drum each holding 205 litres, or used together with a drum mount tu functions as a dispensing station.
The front of the spill guard can be pressed down by the fork lift truck so that drums on a pallet can be loaded into and taken out of the spill guard. The front of the spill guard automatically returns to its original shape.
These new sumps eliminate the necessity of drum transfer from the pallet to the sump, thus enhancing safety in the workplace.
Benefit from this new sump system is the need for safe storage combined with ideal transport possibilities. The PE stackable sumps can easily be transported internally by fork lift or pallet truck. Stackable plastic containers, optionally available in grey, red, blue and green.
These stations are used for storing 2 IBCs or a maximum of 8 x 205 litre drums. Storage on Euro or chemical pallets is possible. Sumps are stable, seamless and manufactured from polyethylene with a capacity of 1100 litres and have a high resistance to oils, acids, alkalis etc.
